Returns and exchange policy
Please check that correct size, correct voltage, correct part number etc are ordered correctly and are delivered as ordered. All goods purchased from SFM cannot be returned or exchanged. Exceptions for exchange will only be considered in the case of defective products or returns may be considered in extraordinary circumstances, the decision of which is solely at the discretion of a Director of SFM. If items are accepted for return, they must be returned at your own cost within 14 days of purchase, with the original invoice/proof of purchase, obviously unused, in the original packaging and labeling with no modification and in a sellable condition. Unless otherwise agreed, there will be a 25% restocking, service and handling fee charged against any returned goods.
Exchange for defective or faulty items
If you believe that the product you have bought from SFM is defective or has developed a non-user fault within the warranty period, please contact SFM directly to request for an exchange. You must return the item and the original receipt intact to SFM within 14 days of the purchase date or within 14 days of the fault occurring at your own cost. If SFM determines that the product is defective or falls under warranty and you are entitled to exchange it, SFM will contact you with instructions as to how to proceed. SFM will not exchange or refund any product not bought from SFM and SFM reserves the right to refuse to exchange any product defect or fault which are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Mis-delivery and unsuccessful delivery
Any inconsistencies found on SFM invoices or incorrect deliveries received from SFM must be reported to SFM within 7 days of the date you receive the product, any such notifications after 7 days may not be considered.
In the case of unsuccessful delivery, SFM will send you an email after two delivery attempts to arrange for re-delivery. If SFM does not hear from you within three working days to arrange re-delivery or if re-delivery is still unsuccessful, the relevant products of your order will be considered as cancelled and you will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Credit or Refund Methods
Any credit or refund will only be issued after SFM has received and assessed your returned items. If you have an account with SFM, the value of the refund may be left on your account with SFM to use against future purchases. Any refund process will depend on the way the original payment was made and may be subject to bank or other charges not related to SFM. In this instance, SFM will contact you to determine the best method.
