Victron Transfer Switches
The high speed Filax is used to reliably transfer from inverter to mains generator. For bigger systems Victron now offers the PowerMan, available in no less than 7 configurations.
Filax
The Filax has been designed to switch sensitive loads, such as computers or modern entertainment equipment from one AC source to another.
The priority source typically is the mains, a generator or shore power. The alternate source typically is an inverter.
With its switching time of less than 20 milliseconds, sensitive loads
will continue to operate without disruption. The Filax is not intended
to supply high power household equipment like washing machines or
electric motors.
PowerMan Transfer Switches
Ideal to build a no-break power supply with several paralleled Multi's.
The PowerMan transfer switch enables seamless power transfer from one
or more AC sources to several paralleled Multi's. In-built AC current
monitoring ensures that the AC power management functionality of the
Multi's remains available.
