Victron Batteries
VRLA AGM and GEL Batteries

VRLA AGM: design life 7-10 years
VRLA GEL: design life 12 years
VRLA GEL 2 volt cells: design life 20 years

The AGM range has very low internal resistance making them particulary suitable for high current discharge applications such as for inverters, thrusters and winches as well as engine starting.
The GEL model range offer best deep cycle durability and overall longer life.
The use of high purity materials and lead calcium grids ensure that for both AGM and GEL products have particularly low self-discharge so that they will not go flat during long periods without charge.
Both ranges are supplied with M8 drilled, flat copper terminals ensuring best possible connection contact and eliminating the need for battery terminals. Manufactured under ISO 9001 quality standards, they are compliant with both CE and UL specifications in ABS fireproof containers and come with Victron's 2 year world-wide warranty.
Lithium-Ion Batteries
The market for battery systems is developing rapidly. There is a growing
demand for efficient batteries with a large energy density. (That is, low-weight to power capacity ratio). Victron
Energy has a suitable response for this demand: the Victron Lithium-ion
battery system. This is comprised of a very modern battery with an
advanced control and security system; the so-called Battery Management
System (BMS). The BMS controls the charging and discharging, immediately
takes action when certain (critical) values are exceeded and safeguards
an efficient energy-transfer.
OPzS Batteries for Solar Power Applications
Long life flooded tubular plate batteries
Design life: >20 years at 20ºC, >10 years at 30ºC, >5 years at 40ºC.
Cycling expectancy of up to 1500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge.
Manufactured according to DIN 40736, EN 60896 and IEC 896-1.
Low maintenance
Under normal operating conditions and 20ºC, distilled water has to be added every 2 – 3 years.
Dry-charged or ready for use electrolyte filled
The batteries are available filled with electrolyte or dry-charged (for
long term stocking, container transport or air transport). Dry charged
batteries have to be filled with diluted sulphuric acid.
