Minimar Reverse Osmosis Desalinator
The real small boats' desalinator! Tecnicomar is proud to introduce MINIMAR, the reverse osmosis desalinator designed for small boats, where usually a generator is not available. MINIMAR produces up to 75 litres per hour of fresh water when powered by a 12 or 24 Volt dc source as storage battery, or by solar cell or eolic turbines. It requires only 22 or 12 Amps. A very compact unit with minimal dimensions, it can easily fit in the small places available aboard.
UV Bacteria Filters
BFS filters are suitable for the pre-filtration of fresh and sea water in all marine applications. The series consists of three different models in a stainless steel frame, all equipped with litre-counter:
- BFS-1: single filter housing
- BFS-2: two filter housings
- BFS-3: three filter housings
There are a variety of 20" filtering cartridges for use with the BFS range. For the BFS-2 and BFS-3, the recommended configuration is a single or double filtration cartridge and one of activated carbon. The BFS series can be used also as oil/water separator filter with coalescer cartridges. The flow rate depends on the feed pressure. When the flow is highly reduced it is time to replace the filtering elements.
Modular Reverse Osmosis Desalinators
Modular is a line of Reverse Osmosis desalinators designed for small boats. Thanks to the small dimensions, Modular can be easily installed even when space on board is limited. The unit is fitted on a stainless steel frame designed so that all the components can be easily inspected and maintained. The stainless steel frame can be easily removed to allow the separate installation of the control box and the high pressure pump.
The pre-filters and booster pump can be installed remotely on board. The Modular series is available in seven models, producing from 35 up to 300 litres of fresh water per hour. All models are equipped with tropicalized motors, with low electrical consumption. This series embodies all the quality and performance that Tecnicomar is known for - high-flow pre-filtration desalination systems with washable cartridges and marine grade stainless steel connectors.
