See-Blitz Safety and Survival Signalling System
SEE-BLITZ Strobe
The SEE - BLITZ represents the core of a safety and survival signalling
system. Whether used as a stand alone personal locator beacon or
enhanced to an aircraft activated base station/emergency helipad, each
component has been designed to support reliability and engineered to
perform. All accessories reflect a modular approach allowing
implementation with a minimum of interconnecting adaptors.
The SEE - BLITZ can literally be taken anywhere, from Desert to Arctic, Alpine to Undersea. It is safe in Explosive and Hazardous locations, being explosion protected and approved to Ex s II (International Electrotechnical Commission Standards for use in Explosive Atmospheres), Zones 1 & 2.
The SEE - BLITZ can be turned on by hand, by trip line, by hydrostatic pressure and by radio control, determined only by the area of application. Within the range of models the SEE - BLITZ can be adapted to suit the specific operational needs of Safety and Survival specialists.
Rail Mount Bracket
In the past imported Rail Mount Brackets were not fully metal, having plastic clamps pop-riveted to a stainless steel frame. UV degradation, susceptibility to chemicals and high temperatures made them unsuitable for naval requirements of durability under extreme conditions. The SB-RMB Rail Mount Bracket is designed as a single piece continuous metal construction with the clamps integral to the unit.
Buoyancy Compensator
Where the standard float collar is too large, the Buoyancy Compensator can be used allowing the SEE - BLITZ to become a Personal Locator Beacon fitting easily into the pockets of foul weather gear. The Buoyancy Compensator can be rolled stocking wise to form a float collar as well.
The Buoyancy Compensator was developed for Helicopter Pilots operating on the North Sea Oil Platforms who needed the SEE - BLITZ attached on the facia of their inflatable Life Jackets.
