Foldable Solar Chargers

PowerFilm Solar makes both commercial and military foldable solar chargers. Custom chargers are also available. PowerFilm Foldable Solar Chargers are extremely lightweight and compact. Designed for users who need lightweight, portable and remote power for laptops, cell and satellite phones, and GPS units, the chargers can be used in a multitude of ways. With the 5 different sizes from 5W to 60W, the chargers can be combined with standard PowerFilm accessories to handle almost any charging need. PowerFilm 5 Watt Foldable Solar Charger (F15 – 300), the smallest of
the Foldable solar chargers is ultra lightweight coming in at only 6
oz. The 5 Watt charger is so compact it can fit into a cargo pants
pocket.
The
PowerFilm 60 Watt Foldable Solar Charger (F15 – 3600), the largest in
the Foldable Solar chargers is very lightweight considering the power
it produces. It weighs only 2.6 lbs and produces 3.6 Amps at 15.4 Volts.
Rollable Solar Panels
Because
PowerFilm integrated solar panels (thin film on plastic) are developed
and manufactured with a proprietary roll-to-roll process, by PowerFilm
Inc, they are truly rollable unlike other thin film technologies that
are only somewhat flexible. PowerFilm solar panels are monolithically
integrated which eliminates the damage-prone manual connections of
individual solar cells. PowerFilm is made of silicon, a natural
resource in abundant supply. PowerFilm performs well in diverse
environments, including hot sun, and does not suffer from wasted
