ICOM Marine Radios
ICOM is the premium brand of marine radios available for the leisure
marine market.
ICOM offers marine radios compliant with full GMDSS/SOLAS requirements as well as the less exacting requirements of non SOLAS vessels under 300 tonnes.

ICOM 801E MF/HF Class E DSC radio
This is the Euro standard MF/HF radio from ICOM. It is fully Class E DSC compliant. It offers all of the features of the M802 together with
- Professional Handset (Hand mic only on the 802)
- Splash proof enclosure (large air vents cut into the 802)
- Built in DC voltage regulation for efficient operation from batteries (effectively the 802 will only transmit at any range with the engine or gensert running)
